Post 5: My future job

 I have always liked working in groups. In school I used to share knowledge and now in college something similar happens. Therefore, I imagine myself working with many people, having to share every day with different positions and thoughts. 

My ideal job is not office work, but I wouldn't mind working in an office if I enjoy my work. If I had a choice, I would like an outdoor job, but I don't see it possible in this area.

When I finish college I would like to work for a while in public healthcare, which is very precarious in treatment and mental health professionals. After that I would like to work as a teacher at the university, hopefully for psychology or pedagogy students. Along with these jobs I would like to do courses or volunteer in other areas that I like, such as veterinary medicine or nail art. 

My idea for now is to study and work here in Chile, maybe taking trips to study abroad but only for a short period of time. I am very attached to my family hahaha.

Unfortunately the work as a psychologist is not paid as it should be, but the truth is the salary is not my priority to work. I hope for my future job to be in an area that I like and that allows me to live my life austerely. 

For now I have not studied any specialty, since I am only in my second year of psychology. The truth is that I am not sure which specialty I would like to study in depth since I don't know what each one is about, so as I advance in my career and become more familiar with them, I will choose the one that interests me the most to work in 😊

Post 1: Country would i like to visit

The country that I have always been interested in visiting is Ecuador, for its great variety of flora and fauna as well as the humid tropical climate which I love. To be honest, I am not very cultured about this country, some of the few things I know are that it is located in South America and that it has one of the greatest biodiversity in the world. Because of that, they take protect and take good care of nature. If I had the opportunity to go to Ecuador, I would visit the national parks and do all kinds of activities relating to nature. I would go to places with less human intervention to appreciate the fauna and flora in the most natural way possible. I couldn't say if I would like to live in Ecuador because I don't know how their system works around people's basic needs. For now I could not go to live abroad since I am very close to my family and friends and it would be difficult for me to separate from them.

Post 6: Postgraduate Studies.

  Searching for alternatives for my future, I did a quick search in the webpage of the University of Chile.  In that surfing, I found several interesting postgraduate courses and activities that caught my attention. The one that interested me a lot and I would like attend once I finish my undergraduate was the "Postgraduate Diploma in Therapeutic and Preventive Interventions in Sexual Assault". The main reason why I would like to study this diploma is that it likely will provide me the tools needed to perform in the field of sexual assaults, at the individual level (aimed at the victims), systemic (aimed at the families) and psychosocial (aimed at the community) The main topics that I would like to learn more deeply is the integrative understanding of the phenomenon of sexual violence, since it would provide me the basic theory or framework to work in this area. Post 4: What's like to study Psychology?

    Hello everybody! Today I come to talk about my studies… I am currently studying the second year of psychology career at the University of Chile. During my high school I was finding out what careers I could study after leaving school and I always had in mind choosing between psychology and veterinary medicine ... I ended up choosing Psychology since the processes that occur in the minds of animals, especially humans, have always caught my attention. In this sense, in my life plans it is that at some point I would love be part of an organization as a volunteer to contribute to animal welfare. Unfortunately, the year I started studying, the pandemic began, causing a strong change in our lives. At first, I didn't like the idea of studying online at all, so I was sad for a couple of weeks.
